"Architectural photography, both interior and exterior, is essential because it documents and helps preserve. When preparing to shoot, I enjoy my walk-through. I look at unique structural elements and the possibilities for capturing them. I strive to reveal each attribute of a building through my photography: overall shape, size, ornamentation and all the forms of design. Because I live and work in a home that was built in 1875, architectural photography has a special appeal to me."
